Colombia-born Javier studied arts and media with a focus on filmmaking. Being a millennial, his home is the Internet with its digital communication technologies, making him a digital native in its truest form.
His creative career as a filmmaker, photographer and social media expert started in Bogota, São Paulo, Havana, and New York City. Truly cosmopolitan, he speaks several languages fluently.
In 2007, he came to Germany, where he began working for German advertising agency von Mannstein. Here he was responsible for the implementation of digital strategies and the content production for elections involving the campaigns of major politicians in the European Parliament and the Bundestag in Germany.
His experience ranges from producing digital content for well-known people such as the former Vice President of the European Parliament Silvana Koch-Mehrin, Germany’s former Vice-Chancellor Dr. Guido Westerwelle, Germany’s former presidents Joachim Gauck and Christian Wulff to other public figures such as the heavy metal band Sepultura and F1 racing driver Ralf Schumacher.
In 2011, he cofounded INTERNTAUTS GmbH with Karolin Klischan and is responsible for the consultancy and creative direction.
Javier actively supports the nonprofit foundation INTERNAUTS CHARITY e.V. with his creative work, such as online content production free of charge.
